I love inspirational wall art.  This one can use a little re-touch but it's still a great piece. I have been purchasing many inspirational pieces of wall art for my future home.  Something about being surrounded by positive things inspires me to live my dreams, my passions and my purpose. What is your source of inspiration at your home or office?

Last week, I went to Seaaca Animal Shelter in my hometown of Downey because I am looking to adopt a kitten.  My kitten, Prince was stolen last month two days before Christmas.  I miss Prince very much. I was #6 on the adoption list for this cute little kitten.  Unfortunately, someone ahead of me on the list adopted him. I was a bit bummed but I will continue searching. It has been really tough and the choices are very limited since they are not in season until about Spring time.

I much rather adopt animals from the animal shelter than purchasing one from the pet store. The animals at the shelter are yearning for love, affection, attention and a great home - they are for the most part very friendly and would make great pets. If you or anyone you know is looking for a great pet, please start your search at your local animal shelter. I promise you will not be disappointed.

 

WOW - I am speechless.  I love this quote, especially because I can relate. In the past,  I have overlooked important opportunities.  Mostly, because I was so afraid to take a leap of faith and unaware that bigger and brighter plans were in store for me.  Don't let opportunities pass you by because you are so hung up in the past.  The experiences from your past good or bad have prepared you for the future. 

I really enjoyed reading all the comments. Thank you all for sharing such beautiful memories. My little nephew, Alex randomly chose the winners. I love seeing the excitement on his face. My journals are my haven of personal life experiences, goals, dreams, deepest desires, creative ideas and intentions.  I love journaling, it is great and comforting for me to be able to take time to relect about life and love on paper. 

My two all-time favorite journal brands are Fiorentina and Ellie Claire.  Fiorentina makes great leather journals. Ellie Claire journals are full of inspirational quotes, wisdom and bible verses that compliment the quotes on each page.  The only thing they are a little small but that doesn't phase me I have purchased at least 4 of them in the past couple months.

Recently, I purchased The Starbucks One book by Dan Zadra and Kobi Yamada.  I was so inspired by it, that I purchased many copies to give as gifts to my special friends including people I would love to re-connect with.  This book is full of wisdom, insight, inspirational quotes, thought-provoking questions and great little reflection exercises.  It caused me to think of the value and difference that I offer to the people that I communicate with on a day-to-day basis.  What's your difference?  How will you make a difference in 2010?
